Our atomic oven is a controlled thermal source that produces a directed beam of neutral atoms by heating an atomic material to generate vapor. It provides the initial atomic flux for subsequent slowing, cooling, trapping, and preparation stages in neutral-atom quantum computing systems.

The atomic oven typically represents the first stage of the atom preparation chain. The resulting atoms can subsequently be slowed by a Zeeman slower, captured in a magneto-optical trap (MOT), further cooled, and ultimately loaded into optical traps or tweezer arrays for use as quantum bits
